k.d lang and her various accompanying orchestras used DPA Microphones IMK4061 Instrument Miking Kits during their 2004 touring season. Mac Johnson, an audio technician for k.d. lang, said, “Because we are either playing as a guest of an orchestra or hiring orchestras wherever we go, having to mike a different set of instruments from place to place could have been a real logistical, time-consuming problem.
