L-Acoustics Expands V-DOSC®, dV-DOSC™ Network Owner Base

New sound reinforcement company 3G Live of Los Angeles and Orange County has purchased a complete L- Acoustics system comprising 24 V-DOSC and 12 dV-DOSC cabinets, 16 SB218 and four dV-DOSC sub enclosures, 24 115XT HiQ monitor wedges, 13 racks of various LA Series amplifiers and a full complement of loudspeaker rigging hardware. Under the direction of Jay Curiel, 3G Live’s mainstay is providing systems for corporate events around the US, as well as large-scale concert production services with a special emphasis on Latin American artists.

Sparks, Nevada’s Moonlighting and Sound has also now joined the L-Acoustics roster with its purchase of a dozen V-DOSC, eight dV-DOSC, eight SB218, one dV-SUB and two 115XT HiQ enclosures. Ken Van Gelder and his crew at M&S frequently provide reinforcement for casino productions in nearby Reno, in addition to rigs for many one-off performances in the area.

Anthony Cioffi and Boulevard Productions of New Millford, New Jersey, have initiated their L-ACOUSTICS inventory with a dozen dV-DOSC cabinets, plus four dV-SUB and four SB218 subwoofers, all powered by L- Acoustics LA 48a amplifiers.

Tech-Tronics Productions Inc. (Ft. Myers, Florida) purchased 18 dV-DOSC and six dV-SUB systems driven by LA 48a amps. Ted Roepke and his team plan to use the new systems on a variety of music and corporate events.

Lastly, Call Brothers Productions, spearheaded by Jim Call, has joined the ranks of dV-DOSC Network Owners through the purchase of a dozen enclosures. Headquartered in Alta Dena, California, Call Brothers bought its cabinets primarily for use on corporate functions.
