Line 6 Announces Dave Froker as Chief Marketing Officer

Line 6 Inc. announced the expansion of its marketing organization with the addition Dave Froker as chief marketing officer and senior vice president, business development. Froker will be responsible for all of the company’s marketing functions worldwide. Froker will also lead the company’s initiatives in developing key partnerships and strategic alliances both inside and outside the musical instrument industry.

Since 2003, Froker had been CEO of the Stanton Group, where he engineered the turnaround of Stanton Magnetics, Cerwin-Vega and KRK. Prior to joining the Stanton Group, Froker was general manager of Digidesign from 1996 until 2002. At Digidesign he initially held business development and vice president of product marketing roles. During his tenure as general manager, Froker tripled the size of the company and presided over the growth of Pro Tools into an industry standard. Prior to Digidesign, Froker worked as a strategy and market analysis consultant and in product planning roles.

In addition to being a lifelong guitarist, Froker holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree in engineering/economic systems from Stanford University.
