Nigerian-born producer Niyi Adelekan, aka Synematik, has taken up residency at Music Works NYC, a state-of the-art, boutique music recording, voice-over, and production facility based in New York City on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The studios were designed by Platinum engineer Christos Tsantillis (50 Cent, Patti LaBelle, The Roots, Diddy) and built by Michigan-based custom studio builder Ken Capton (Eminem, Kid Rock).

Synematik produced the latest single from Vested In Culture/Sony Epic artist and Sylvia Rhone protege, Kat Dahlia, titled “Fireman,” which us part of Dahlia’s debut album, My Garden, slated for release in September 2013, and one of several songs that Synematik has produced for the project. Timbaland, Naughty Boy, Salaam Remi, J Dens and others are also expected to contribute to the album.

Synematik is a composer and multi-instrumentalist and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He recently signed a global co-publishing deal with Stellar Songs/EMI and gained experience working under award-winning producers and camps such as Roc Nation, Stargate, Bad Boy, Seven Aurelius, Dennis Ferrer, and more. His credits also include music for The Academy Awards, Jay Leno, Rock Center with Brian Williams, WWE SmackDown, HBO’s NFL Series Hard Knocks, PGA Golf, and FIFA World Cup.
