The RapcoHorizon Company, a leading manufacturer of audio/video interfacing and cable equipment located in Jackson, Mo., announced its SilverHog guitar and microphone cables at the 2013 NAMM Show. The latest addition to the company’s RoadHog Series, SilverHog is a series of high-end yet affordable (prices TBA) touring cables.

Built with the original RoadHog jacket, which the RapcoHorizon Company designed specifically for the touring musician, SilverHog cables also have pure silver-plated copper conductors and shields. This upgrade provides a link between ultimate sound quality and extreme durability. As with all RoadHog cables, the SilverHog comes with a limited lifetime warranty for further protection against wear and tear.

The SilverHog guitar cable is equipped with a 20awg pure silver-plated copper conductor, encased in a 95-percent pure silver-plated copper spiral shield with a RoadHog jacket that is said to be durable, lays flat and coils easily. The SilverHog mic cable includes two 24awg silver-plated copper conductors and features the same spiral shield and jacket as the guitar cable.
