The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing Manufacturer Council Breakfast was held on Sunday, October 28, 2012, during the 133rd AES Convention. At their biannual meeting, the group of industry leaders shared ideas and discussed issues with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of high-quality audio and the professionals who create it, as well as topics of mutual interest to pro audio manufacturers, retailers, and the producers and engineers who use their products.
A key topic of conversation was the P&E Wing’s recent partnership with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) in debuting QualitySoundMatters.com, an online portal that the P&E Wing says will launch in December 2012 and promote enhanced consumer awareness of higher-quality sound for music.
