The G Martell College of Music Technology and Audio in Mexico City has purchased and installed a 48-channel 1608 console with API’s proprietary P-Mix automation. The college purchased the 1608 from Vari Internacional, API’s exclusive dealer in Mexico City.
The school has been teaching music-focused courses for more than 130 years, and has recently expanded into music technology. The console will be used to teach the art of tracking and mixing to students who are enrolled in the Audio Engineering and Production Program.
API reports that the response from G Martell College has been very positive. “They are so happy with the console,” says Vari Internacional’s Gustavo Martinez. “It has been a complete success for them.”
