Sales, Marketing for L-Acoustics Aided by New Hire

Paul Freudenberg, VP of sales and marketing at L-Acoustics U.S., announced the appointment of Dan Palmer to the newly created position of sales manager. Based in Oxnard, Calif., Palmer will assist Freudenberg in directing L-Acoustics’ U.S. rep network, as well as liaising with consultants, contractors, sound reinforcement companies and other customers with technical sales issues.

Prior to joining the company, Palmer was director of business development for Platt Design Group in Sierra Madre, Calif. This followed four years spent with Otari in Canoga Park, Calif., where he ultimately served as director of sales and marketing for the North America, Latin and South Americas. Palmer previously spent eight years with the Harman Consumer Group in Northridge, Calif., which culminated with his role as director of electronics engineering and product development.

“Dan’s diverse experience with broadcast, touring and installation sound, from both the manufacturer and the consultant sides, made him the ideal candidate for this position,” remarks Freudenberg. “Furthermore, his background in engineering and product development has endowed him with an in-depth knowledge of products and applications that will undoubtedly be instrumental in helping us achieve our ongoing growth and customer support goals.”
