Satronen Sound, which specializes in location sound recording for the music, film and TV industries, announces that it has launched a new Website. It features a résumé of work by Satronen Sound and its owner/engineer Pete Nenortas, while hosting a number of live, rare and exclusive recordings available for streaming.
The relaunch was executed in partnership with Rocket Resources, a New England-based music, arts, and entertainment company operated by performing/producing artist Todd the Rocket.
Nenortas is known throughout the music, television, radio and film industries for expert sound recording, engineering skills and services. The site aims to show the range of applications and the wide variety of retail, broadcast, and emerging film successes Satronen Sound has celebrated.
Musical acts featured on the Satronen Sound Website have been recorded by Nenortas at several venues around the country, with a focus on his home region of the Northeast. Recent work includes two stops on last year’s Gentlemen of the Road tour headlined by the Grammy Award winning Mumford and Sons leading to several exclusive releases; a recording at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, for NPR’s The Moth radio show; and numerous live concert radio recordings for national artists including David Gray, Michael Franti, Iron & Wine, The Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile and Keane.
At the new page, Nenortas shares some of his favorite recordings from his archive of exceptional artists he’s worked with, as well as video of recent work and a partial discography.
