The MixDream ($3,795) is an active, cascadable 16-in-2 analog outboard mixer in a 19-inch/2U format that expands DAWs or digital consoles with analog stereo summing and insert functionality.
The MixDream is designed so that channel adjustments and automation (level, panorama, etc.) remain controlled from the DAW. The MixDream’s Class-A technology, running at 60 volts, brings analog summing to the final stereo mix. The MixDream’s 16 inserts also allow for integrated analog effects with individual and overall hard bypass relays. Additional features include stereo expansion, limiting, master inserts and switchable Lundahl output transformers.
