Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas Installs Three Avid HDX Systems

Avid reports that Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas has installed three Pro Tools|HDX systems and 176 channels of HD I/O. The upgrade offers clients additional tracks, more headroom, and up to five times more dedicated DSP power for music and post-production projects. Studio at the Palms’ client roster includes Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Maroon 5.

Pro Tools|HDX highlights include 5x the processing power of previous generation cards, 4x more playable tracks, 64 channels of I/O per card, enabling larger configurations with fewer cards, and more than 1,000dB more headroom and higher resolution sound
