Kramer Master Tape plug-in
Waves Audio announces Tape, Tubes & Transistors (Native $400/TDM $500 MSRP; special intro price is Native $199/TDM $299), a new bundle of plug-ins that re-creates the audio chain used at London’s Olympic Studios by producer/engineer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss). Tape, Tubes & Transistors features the Kramer Master Tape, HLS Channel, and PIE Compressor plug-ins, which model Olympic Studios’ Helios console channel, Pye compressor and a rare vintage ΒΌ-inch reel-to-reel machine, respectively.
Waves developed all three plug-ins with Kramer as part of an ongoing series of collaborations.
