A night view of the board and stage, Aspen’s 2005 Winter X Games
At the Winter X Games (Buttermilk Ski Resort, Aspen, Colo.), Shaped Music flew a dozen L-Acoustics V-DOSC and six dV-DOSC cabinets over 12 SB218 subs at the outdoor 60×40-foot Après X stage, which featured post-competition performances from popular artists such as The Roots and Ozomotli. The company also flew an additional dozen V-DOSCs at the A.W.O.L. Aspen stage, which hosted punk band Unwritten Law. According to Shaped Music’s Rich Werdes, the sound for both stages was “clear, loud and enjoyed by all.”
