Yamaha Commercial Audio recently announced a revision to PM1D Version 2 software. User feedback played a significant role in the approximately 20 new features provided in the upgrade, PM1DV2.
New upgrades include automatic gain adjustment for systems using shared inputs and Load Filter, which provides flexible file management to and from the PCMIA data memory card.
For theater applications, an enhanced Event List will now enable the Time Code Event List to match that found on the Yamaha PM5D console. An Insert/Delete Channel function has also been added. Other additions include new user-define functions, a Clear All function for oscillator and talkback, a number of new factory presets, an expanded number of input EQ and input channel libraries and extensions to the Recall Safe function. PM1DV2 now supports the MY8-DA96 expansion card.
