The ADA-Foundation was created to initiate and support education inroom acoustics, electro-acoustics and sound reinforcement, acousticsimulation and the development of scientific software—such asEASE—for these areas.
The ADA-Foundation has supplied universities, colleges and othereducational establishments with software for the simulation ofacoustics. Co-founder Dr. Ahnert said, “Many young architects,acousticians and audio system designers finish their degree courses andenter their chosen profession where they will, in the majority ofcases, work with EASE software as part of their day-to-day work.Because of this, we have decided to make EASE available to them duringtheir education, through the establishments that train them.”
