The AES 20th International Conference on archiving, restoration and new methods of recording is taking place on October 5-7, 2001, in Budapest, Hungary.
UNESCO representative Joie Springer will open the conference on Friday, October 5, with an address entitled “Promoting Global Access to the Audiovisual Memory of the World.”
This conference will present views from several perspectives and exemplify the impact these methods have on several areas of the audio industry.
Note: The AES 11th convention has been rescheduled to November 30-December 3, 2001 in New York City.
