On January 28, 2003, the AES L.A. Section will be holding its nextmeeting, spotlighting advances in high-definition audio, taking adetailed look at current and future developments in 24/96 PCM-basedconverters, recorders and workstations, in addition to DSD-basedsystems that are being used on an increasing number of rock, jazz andclassical music sessions.
Moderated by Mel Lambert, creative director of Media&Marketing,the panel will comprise representatives from a number of companiesoffering high-resolution conversion, recording and editing systems,including Apogee Electronics, Digidesign, Genex Audio, SADiE, Sony andothers. Scheduled participants include Roger Robindore, manager ofquality insurance, Apogee Electronics; Scott Wood, senior productmanager, Post-Production, Digidesign; Kevin Brown, president, GenexAudio Inc.; Gary Rosen, VP, SADiE Inc, America; and Lon Neumann,Western manager of field operations, Sony Super Audio Compact DiscProject.
