AES UK Conference To Focus On Home Delivery of Audio

The Audio Engineering Society UK section will present its 17th two-day Conference, "Audio Delivery: The changing home experience," April 15-16 at Church

The Audio Engineering Society UK section will present its 17th two-day Conference, “Audio Delivery: The changing home experience,” April 15-16 at Church House, in Westminster, London, to explore the spectrum of new ways in which recorded music and other media are delivered to the home.

The 17th UK Conference program will present information on new technologies in eight sessions, including the future of physical delivery of audio, new gateways for audio delivery into the home, home audio networks, copy protection and rights management, audio quality of home systems, the design of home audio products and where the road of home delivery will lead the audio community.

Representatives from Texas Instruments, Sony Broadcast, the Tornado Group, Green Room Productions, the Universal Music Group, Digidesign, Dolby, Microsoft, IRT, Kenwood, BBC and others will present papers, as well as discuss aspects of the new services and technologies being developed for the delivery of audio to the home and the impact that they will have on the future of audio.
