The D 880M features AKG’s patented Varimotion System, which allowsthe transducer’s response to be fine-tuned as the diaphragm is molded.The gold-plated inset on the XLR plug optimizes signal transmission andresists corrosion. The D 880M comes with a stand adapter and metalhard-shell carrying case.
AKG’s C 900M condenser microphone features an extremely uniformpolar response and optional PB 1000 presence-boost adapter for acustom-tailored frequency response. A 24-karat-gold-encased cardioidcapsule allows optimum conductivity and resists corrosion. The C 900Mcomes with a stand adapter, PB 1000 Presence-Boost Adapter and acarrying case.
An option with AKG’s new Emotion Line is the TM 40 UHF plug-intransmitter. The TM 40 connects quickly and easily to the EmotionSeries microphones, and is compatible with the company’s WMS40 UHFreceivers.
The list price of the AKG D 880M is $147 and the D 880MS with silenton/off switch lists at $159. The list price of the C 900M is $250. AllEmotion Series microphones come with a two-year parts and laborwarranty from AKG.
