Apogee introduced the Rosetta 200, the latest addition to a new generation of converters. The Rosetta 200 is a 2-channel version of the Rosetta 800, but offers the new CODA Audio Finishing Module, MIDI support and full channel metering.

Rosetta 200’s CODA is a trio of tools that includes Apogee’s Aptomizer, a level normalizer; sample rate conversion; and UV22HR dithering technology.

The Rosetta 200 also features an expansion card slot for Apogee’s new X-Series cards, which facilitate direct connection to Pro Tools|HD and Mix (X-HD and X-Digi-Mix cards), and a direct FireWire connection that supports S800/S400 standards (X-FireWire card). Other specs include sample rates up to 192 kHz with Apogee’s Intelliclock; two channels of AES, S/PDIF (co-ax and optical), and ADAT/SMUX I/O MIDI I/O; and “Soft Limit” for maximum digital level without overs.

The Rosetta 200 will be available in June 2004 and has a MSRP of $1,995 with CODA.
