Architectural Acoustics, a division of Peavey ElectronicsCorporation, showed the Impulse 2652 two-way, permanent installationloudspeaker at NSCA 2004.

The Impulse 2652 is a fill speaker for voice and live music soundreinforcement in houses of worship, auditoriums, gymnasiums,restaurants and any application requiring a visually unobtrusiveloudspeaker. The cabinet’s trapezoidal design allows placement in wallcorners, on columns or under balconies, and each Impulse 2652 shipswith four threaded inserts for flying with capability for wall-mountingthrough the SV™ 2652 accessory.

The system comprises two 61/2-inch woofers and one 22XT™compression driver coupled to a conical, high-frequency horn, and canhandle 150 watts continuous power (300W program and 600W peak). Theenclosure also includes a four-position barrier strip and NeutrikSpeakon input.

The Impulse 2652 is manufactured using 18mm, 13-ply baltic birch andis available in a gray lacquer finish with a black grille or a naturalfinish with a white grille.
