Audix’s RAD-360 is a frequency-agile, UHF wireless microphone system with 193 selectable frequencies and a dual-tuner true-diversity receiver. Operating in the UHF band between 638 and 806 MHz, the RAD-360 is designed for live performances, fixed installs, corporate meetings/events and houses of worship.

The RAD-360 features an easy-to-use, easy-to-read menu-driven displays on all system components. Both the receiver and the transmitters are synthesizer-controlled via Phase Locked Loop (PLL) for stable RF signals.

Its handheld transmitters are constructed with a durable metal housing and offer a gain setting control that enables a –10, -20 and –30dB pad to prevent overload or distortion. The modular design of the threaded capsule housing assembly allows for one user to easily change the transmitter mic capsule from one model to another quickly.

The bodypack transmitter, constructed of durable ABS composite, is housed in a protective metal cradle. It can be used with lavalier, headset and specialty instrument mics. A guitar system is also available. Mic/line input adjustments are provided, as well as an additional 20dB sensitivity/gain control.

The true-diversity receiver (RAD-360R) is rack-mountable for either one or two systems into a standard 19-inch equipment rack. An optional amplified antenna distribution system (ADS-4) is available, allowing up to four systems to run off a single pair of antennas and four systems to run off of one DC power supply. An optional antenna booster (AB-1), which can be wall-mounted or mic stand-mounted, strengthens incoming signals, improves signal-to-noise ratio and increases the RF range.

The RAD-360 wireless systems are available in a wide variety of pre-packaged configurations; system prices vary from $799. Individual components are available for users who want to customize their own systems.
