Santa Monica, CA (November 15, 2012)—Blue Microphones has unveiled a $3.5 million dollar home recording studio designed and curated in collaboration with other audio industry partners

.

The home recording studio was designed and curated in collaboration with multi Grammy-winning mixer and producer Jack Joseph Puig, Vintage King, SSL, Audio Perception, JSX Audio and several high-end audio partners. The studio occupies the top floor of a $20 million Santa Monica estate, created by House of Rock, a Los Angeles-based entertainment company.

“This space was built to inspire artists to create,” said Tyler Barth, vice president of business development and artist relations at Blue Microphones. “This studio is at the forefront of the music industry’s evolution toward a more personalized environment, where artists can work in the privacy of their home at any time of the day or night, and have cutting-edge technology at their finger tips.”

After four years of being the lead curator for the lavish studios inside of Esquire house, a similar project hosted by Esquire Magazine, Blue Microphones was asked to take on a project like that for House of Rock. The fully loaded studio features digital and vintage analog recording equipment and technologies from lead partners, including SSL, Vintage King, Audio Perceptions, Blue Microphones, Fender, Waves, JSX Audio, Dell and Skullcandy. The studio is equipped with the complete line of premium microphones from Blue, equipment from Vintage King, the world’s first wraparound SSL Duality console and custom Barefoot speakers, and additionally houses a Gretch drum kit that was provided by Drum Doctors.

The House of Rock plays host to recording sessions daily for invited artists to experience the facility, while charity concerts will utilize the outdoor stage. The Blue Microphones engineering team is handling all studio production and recording assistance.
