The DCM2500 is the latest addition to Carvin’s (www.carvin.com) workhorse DCM power amp line.
The U.S.-build DCM2500 delivers 500/900/1,2500 watts at 8/4/2 ohms per channel, and 2,500 watts bridged at 4 ohms. Other specs include: frequency response of 10-40k Hz, .03 THD (50% output); less than 500 damping factor; less than 50-volt mS slew rate; and S/N is less than 100 dB. WIth custom, toroid-equipped power supplies and huge reserve caps, the DMC2500 drives 2-ohm loads at extreme volumes. Price: $599.99.
