One of the latest additions within Community’s R Series of professional components, the new R.5HP full-range loudspeaker is a three-way, horn-loaded device engineered to deliver high output and maximum intelligibility from an extremely compact enclosure.
The roto-molded, weather and UV-resistant loudspeaker holds its pattern control down to 630 Hz, and comes standard with integral stainless-steel mounting points and a passive crossover network.
Also included is the coaxial packaging of Community’s M200A midrange driver and UC1 1-inch exit, high-frequency transducer within the mouth of the loudspeaker’s 12-inch low-frequency horn. Operable between 90 and 16k Hz, the R.5HP has a sensitivity of 107 dB SPL (1W/1m) between 250 Hz and 4 kHz. With a maximum output of 127 dB SPL/134 dB SPL peak, and low-to-mid, mid-to-high crossover functions respectively taking place at 600 Hz and 4 kHz, the loudspeaker measures 16x16x16 inches (HxDxW). It additionally comes with its own stainless-steel yoke and Community’s proprietary three-layer Weather-Stop grille.
