Crest Performance, a division of Crest Audio, introduced its new CPTSeries loudspeakers, which offer crisp highs and smooth midrangeperformance for small- to medium-sized speaking and performance venues,including houses of worship, intimate music clubs, multipurpose roomsand permanent installations.
Crest Performance CPT loudspeakers include three-point flyinghardware on the top and bottom for inverted flying, input plate,two-position barrier strips; 4-pin Neutrik connectors, 90×40-degreehorns and 1.5-inch titanium compression drivers.
The CPT1 (MSRP: $399) offers a peak power handling of 800 watts(program power handling of 400W) and has a 10-inch woofer. TheCPT2’s ($475) peak power handling is 1,000W (program powerhandling is 500W) and comes with a 12-inch woofer. The CPT5 ($515)offers the same power handling, but comes with a 15-inch woofer. TheCPT1652 ($375) and CPT2652 ($445) offer peak power handling of 150W and300W, respectively.
