“Directors are becoming ever more interested in the audioaspect of their productions. To meet these growing demands, you need ahuge amount of processing,” says De Lane Lea technical operationsmanager Ed Jones. “The DFC’s features are so well-geared tomixing films, it removes a lot of the technical concerns that can ariseduring the mix. This means the mixer and director can spend far moretime concentrating on the whole picture rather than being distracted bytechnical issues.”

The DFC duo will join the facility’s existing AMS Neve Logic 2and Logic 3 in the first half of 2004.
