Disc Makers has dropped the price on its Elite and ElitePro automated duplication systems to attract smaller recording studios, production houses and recording musicians. In addition, the company will now be including Discjuggler.NET networking software with its Elite3 and Elite4 units (a $490 value). This software allows multiple users on a network to simultaneously send duplication projects to their Elite duplicator, including from remote locations.

Features of the Elite include a choice of drive options (top-of-the-line 52x Plextor CD-R drives or Plextor DVD±R drives); stand-alone pro version (available with a built-in PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse. The PC is pre-loaded with Windows XP Pro, Padus DiscJuggler recording software and Discus label design software); can be expanded and upgraded; large disc capacity (Elite1: 125-disc input/output capacity; Elite4: 200-disc input/output bins); and it easily connects to a PC via included FireWire card and cable, parallel cable and serial cable. Each unit comes with a two-year warranty on automation, free lifetime tech support and 100 free CD-Rs.
