THREE QUARTERS OF A CENTURY OF ADVANCING TECHNOLOGY

Originally founded in 1927, Electro-Voice, thanks to Al Kahn and Lou Burroughs, has expanded its product line from a noise-canceling microphone in 1942 to include loudspeakers, power amplifiers, and mixing consoles for music, fixed installation, commercial sound, concert sound, broadcast, aviation and military applications.

Joel Johnson, general manager of wired and wireless microphones, says, “We plan to celebrate and build on the legacy we’ve established over the past century. However, we’re even more focused on the future. Our R&D staff is as busy as they’ve ever been to ensure that E-V mics remain industry leaders!”
