Little Ferry, NJ (October 5, 2010)–Eventide has announced limited-time special pricing for the H910 and H949 combo Pro Tools TDM plug-in through October 31, 2010.

According to the company, the H910 Harmonizer, launched in 1975, was the world’s first pitch changer. It was used by Frank Zappa and Jimmy Page in their live guitar rigs, and on David Bowie’s Young Americans album. This re-creation includes pushbutton delays and pitch shifting a la 1975.

The H949 Harmonizer took things a bit further with the addition of a randomizer, flanger and added a repeat feature, which freezes the audio in the buffer. It also featured an advanced de-glitching algorithm. There is a video demo at http://bit.ly/bBqTy8.

Lowered to a price of $99 through Halloween, after October 31, 2010, the plug-ins will be available only with the Anthology II bundle. The H910/H949 combo is fully compliant with ICON, D-Control, D-Command, Venue, D-Show, Pro Tools 8.x, and is Mac-, Universal Binary-, Vista- and Windows XP-compatible.
