High Wycombe, U.K. (December 27, 2011)–Focusrite and Novation have joined forces to launch a remix contest.
The song up for remixing was constructed in a single day by dubstep producer Continuum, mentored by Brad “Baloo” Ellis from production duo The Nextmen.
Focusrite and Novation documented the writing process in the “Track in a Day” video and are offering the winner of the best remix/rework of the track $1,400 (£1,100/€1,300) in equipment, as used by Continuum in the making of the track.
To enter, visit the Novation or Focusrite Facebook pages and click on the “Track in a Day” tab. Download the audio stems and do whatever you want with them; whether you choose to remix, recover or rework the track, your entry will be considered by Brad Ellis/Continuum, and the final selection will go to a public vote in early 2012.
Entries must be submitted by 16:59 GMT on Jan. 31, 2012.
