Fox Station Chooses Two Euphonix Max Airs

Fox-owned-and-operated WOFL-TV has purchased two Euphonix Max Air digital audio consoles.

Fox-owned-and-operated WOFL-TV has purchased two Euphonix Max Airdigital audio consoles. The decision was made after the Euphonix MaxAir Broadcast Tour vehicle rolled into WOFL’s Orlando, Fla.headquarters for an in-depth demonstration.

A 24-fader Max Air was scheduled for installation in the station’snew control room in April 2004 and a 16-fader board will be installedin WOFL’s existing control room in June. Both consoles will be used forbroadcasting news throughout central Florida.

The Max Air Broadcast Tour is a specially commissioned truckoutfitted with a 96-channel Max Air mixing system, set up to simulate alocal TV station digital audio control room. It is currently touringthroughout the U.S.
