JBL Professional has added to its Control Contractor line with the new Control 126W and Control 128W. The Control 126W is a two-way model with a 61/2-inch high-performance woofer. The Control 128W is a two-way featuring an 8-inch high-performance woofer. Both units feature deep polymer-coated aluminum cone for high performance into the 30Hz range and pure butyl-rubber surround for long life and extra reliability.

Control 126W handles 50 watts RMS (200W peak) with a frequency response of 38 to 20k Hz. Control 128W handles 60W RMS (240W peak) from 30 to 20k Hz. The Control 126W and Control 128W feature an extended pole piece magnet design for long excursion and tight, low bass. High-slope crossover networks ensure that the Control 126W and Control 128W maintain natural midrange sound. The new in-wall Control Contractor loudspeakers feature pure titanium high-frequency drivers housed in a low-diffraction swivel-mounting system.

The Control Contractor in-wall units are sized to fit into the standard wall space of typical stud-wall construction. Optional rough-in frames are available for installing the speakers onto standard studs in new construction. The baffles and grilles can be painted to match any décor.
