Italian vocalist Laura Pausini is working on a new album in her new studio—Oliveta Recording Studio (ORS) in Castelbolognese, Northern Italy—which she's equipped with a Solid State Logic MT Plus digital console. Giulio Antognini serves as Pausini’s in-house engineer.
The semi-private facility also includes a second smaller studio taht, like the main room, contains a Pro Tools|HD3 workstation, Quested monitoring set up in surround configuration (7.1 in the main room) and outboard gear from GML, NEVE, Lexicon, TC Electronic, Universal Audio, Focusrite, Avalon and Tube-Tech.
With album sales of more than 20 million worldwide, Pausini is regarded as one of Italy’s most important recording artists. Her forthcoming album was recorded in both Italian and Spanish, and is slated for world-wide release this spring.
