With the recent offering of the Mac OS X CoreAudio driver for the new AES16, Lynx Studio Technology Inc. now offers the latest Macintosh support for all of its 24-bit/196kHz digital audio interfaces.

The company began full OS X support of the LynxTWO and L22 digital audio interfaces in November, and put its new OS X drivers for the AES 16 onto its Website.

Lynx’s new OS X CoreAudio drivers give complete software control over every aspect of the AES16 and AES16-SRC, showing complete channel status information for each of the digital inputs and giving control over each of the digital outputs.

All of Lynx’s 192kHz interface cards can be used with either the standard PCI interface or the new 3.3V PCI-X interface found in the Macintosh G5 models.

All drivers are available for immediate free download from the Lynx Studio Technology Website, www.lynxstudio.com.
