Mackie Designs (Woodinville, Wash.) welcomed Carl Owen into the position of manager of the Soundscape brand. Owen will be responsible for establishing and supporting a worldwide distribution network for all Soundscape-branded Sydec products, and will be based out of the UK. He will also be responsible for introducing Soundscape products to new markets.
Before joining Mackie, Owen was the technical sales manager at Soundscape Digital Technologies Ltd., the UK-based company that has been marketing and distributing Sydec products under the Soundscape name since 1993. Sydec was acquired by Mackie earlier this year.
