Musictech Opens American Pop Music College in Europe

Musictech College announced plans to open the first college of American popular music in Europe this Fall.

Musictech College announced plans to open its first college ofAmerican popular music in Europe this Fall. McNally Smith College ofMusic, named for Musictech co-founders Jack McNally and Doug Smith,will be located at the Media Docks in Lübeck, Germany, and willoffer coursework ranging from contract law and entrepreneurship torecording, music production, applied music and songwriting through itsInternational Music Business Program.

Students at McNally Smith Europe will also have the opportunity tostudy at the U.S. Musictech College, which reportedly gives studentsgreater access to the global music industry and an opportunity tofurther broaden their studies with diverse elective classes. Inaddition, Musictech College U.S. students will have the opportunity tostudy in Lübeck for one or more semesters.

Musictech College specializes in the study of music performance,music business, recording technology and multimedia arts. More than 400students are currently enrolled at the U.S. college, which features astate-of-the-art recording studio complex in addition to musicperformance, music business and recording technology coursework.
