San Francisco, CA (October 29, 2010)—-BMS/Chace President and co-founder John Spencer will demonstrate the new Content Creator Data metadata project at the AES Convention on Friday, November 5 and Sunday, November 7.

On Friday Nov. 5 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday Nov 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. BMS/Chace President and co-founder John Spencer will be presenting demonstrations of the CCD environment in Room 112 at Moscone Center.

Today, when most commercial recording projects are “born digital,” a new paradigm is required for how projects are documented, distributed and archived. Accurate metadata is an essential component for this new paradigm and key to any profitable recording industry model. CCD, (Content Creator Data) is the Library of Congress funded multi-track project that includes a standardized schema, data dictionary, field-set, and free studio collection application.

Developed by data management and archiving company BMS/Chace, in partnership with The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing and record labels including Warner Music Group, Sony, BMG, EMI and Disney, the application facilitates gathering the technical, descriptive, and participant information associated with recording projects and provides tools for the dynamic, end to end documentation necessary to connect the dots and facilitate e-copyright, e-commerce, and archiving.
