John Lennon Songwriting Contest winners The Royal
Charlotte, NC (August 12, 2013)—Connectivity solutions developer Neutrik accompanied the mobile recording studio, the John Lennon Education Tour Bus, this year as it toured across the U.S. and Canada, making stops at the Vans Warped Tour. The Lennon Bus made stops along the west coast including Seattle WA, Portland, OR, the San Francisco Bay area, and Southern CA.
For the Warped Tour, Neutrik helped broadcast the second annual AP Cover Stars Live Chats, hosted by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman.
Attendees were encouraged to download the official free Neutrik-branded Lennon Bus app to tweet their questions to their favorite cover stars and have them answered live. Eight different bands took part in the Q&A, including Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens, Christopher Drew of NeverShoutNever, and Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years.
The John Lennon Songwriting Contest’s Vans Warped Tour Prize was presented by Neutrik USA to The Royal (http://www.facebook.com/wearetheroyal), who had the chance to experience a week on the road in California, complete with an exclusive ‘Lennon Bus Live’ session.
