Hollywood, CA (July 19, 2013)-ESPN recently recorded theme music for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil at Ocean Way Recording, in anticipation of the June 12, 2014 kickoff.

The new ESPN World Cup theme music was recorded in Ocean Way’s famed Studio A with trumpeter Wayne Bergeron and percussion virtuoso Alex Acuna with Lisle Moore, composer/producer; Bryan Hofheins, CCO, Warner Chappelle/NonStop Music; and Claude Mitchell, ESPN coordinating director of music. The recording engineer was Wesley Seidman; Ryan Reault assisted.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup, taking place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014, will be the 20th FIFA international football tournament. This is the second time that Brazil, a five-time World Cup winner and the only team to play in every one of the 19 previous quadrennial tournaments, has hosted the competition. Brazil will become the fifth country to have hosted the FIFA World Cup twice, after Mexico, Italy, France and Germany.
