Now distributed in the United States by Group One Ltd., Opticore’sLX4 Optical Digital Multicore Network System converts digital andanalog audio signals for long-distance transmission over a flexible andscalable (up to 196 audio channels), dual-redundant ring structure with24-bit/96kHz clarity.
The LX4A stage box has 16 return channels and 48 mic/line inputs,with all gain adjustments storable in memory and accessible anywhere onthe system. A composite video input (for stage monitoring) is alsoprovided, along with RS-232 and RS-485 data buses. Connected via twofiber-optic lines, the LX4B FOH box has multipin analog breakouts forthe 48 audio outs and 16 sends. Also available is a DD32 digital I/Obox with 64 AES3 or 32 DMX/RS-422 lines and a Windows-based LX4software patching utility to speed setups. Auto-switching,dual-redundant power supplies are standard on all units.
