Los Angeles, CA (January 26, 2011)–Adam Wolf has been promoted to the position of vice president, creative at independent publishing and licensing company pigFACTORY.
In his new post, Wolf, who was previously senior creative director, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and licensing pigFACTORY’s music for film, television, interactive, and advertising. Wolf will also proactively seek new songs and catalogs to add to pigFACTORY’s roster.
“During the past five years, Adam has been instrumental in expanding the placement of pigFACTORY’s music across feature films, television shows and commercials. He is an invaluable asset to us, and is more than deserving of this promotion,” said Keatly Haldeman, CEO, pigFACTORY Music, whose roster includes recordings and songs by artists such as Fatboy Slim, Iggy Pop, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
Since joining music pigFACTORY in 2006 Wolf has helped build the company’s synchronization department, which has seen placements in such high profile productions and trailers as Walk The Line, The Wrestler, Tron: Legacy, 127 Hours, Hot Tub Time Machine, Cold Case, Entourage, Hawaii 5.0, Ugly Betty, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Miami, and Guitar Hero. Commercial placements have included Lincoln, Playstation, Smart Car, Fisker, E-Trade and Rain-X, to name a few.
Wolf began his career working on independent films, became a producer with director Christopher Coppola, and has since worked as a music supervisor, producer and director of films and music videos as well as various aspects of post production. Later, Wolf helped conceive and became VP of Music Report/TuneData, a company that was at the forefront of electronic music storage and delivery, designed to help facilitate music requests from music supervisors and film makers to composer agents, music publishers, and record companies.
