Los Angeles, CA (October 20, 2010)--MixSensei.com will unveil its new online video tutorials, Master Audio Concepts, presented by Grammy-winning engineer/producer Dave Isaac, at the upcoming AES Convention.

Los Angeles, CA (October 20, 2010)–MixSensei.com will unveil its new online video tutorials, Master Audio Concepts, presented by Grammy-winning engineer/producer Dave Isaac, at the upcoming AES Convention.

Isaac has worked with the likes of Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Luther Vandross and Marcus Miller, as well as TV shows (Everybody Hates Chris, and PBS specials) plus motion pictures (scores for Lethal Weapon 2, Good Hair and Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner).

The new series of tutorials has been developed for both beginners and experienced professionals that want to share the audio concepts behind Isaac’s production skills and make them their own. Tutorials are scheduled to go live on November 4, 2010.

The series integrates a combination of engineering skills, musical knowledge and practical understanding of studio equipment into an interactive form of learning. “This combination makes MixSensei.com a unique platform for education with a highly practical background,” the producer/educator states.

The new tutorials are based on basic and advanced audio engineering skills, and are applicable to professional or home studios. “The series covers many aspects of engineering and music production,” Isaac continues, “and provides a greater understanding of the philosophy of the art of audio engineering. And they avoid being just an on-line manual for specific equipment; they teach an understanding of the elements of engineering, whatever the equipment being used.”

The series will host guest musicians and engineers who will explain their specific techniques and skills, including such multi-Platinum talent as Marcus Miller, Patrice Rushen, Reggie Dozier, Darius “Deezle” Harrison, Morris Hayes, Steve King, Bobby Fernandez, John Jones, Ronald Prent, Tommy Vicari, Darcy Proper, D-Train, Miles Showell, Crispin Murray, Clarence McDonald, Ric’Key Pageot, and many more. Several music projects with Marcus Miller and other artists will be used as examples and course materials for on-line students.

MixSensei.com will become available in several stages, including an iPhone app, in the coming year.
