Pulse (San Francisco), a leader in 3D animation and rich media forthe Web, announced that it has acquired Sonicopia (San Francisco), aprovider of interactive audio solutions for digital media. In thepreparation for the acquisition, the two companies have already begunintegrating Sonicopia’s audio technology into the Pulse platform,which will take affect with version 5.0 of the Pulse product line.While the Pulse platform previously supported interactive audio forcontent streaming to a Pulse Player window, Sonicopia’stechnology can additionally sonify all HTML elements external to thePulse Player window on any page.
