Peavey Electronics and the Hard Rock Academy recently teamed up tocreate Peavey Rock Week, a rock ’n’ roll summer camp inOrlando, Fla., where 19 students learned how to play musicalinstruments, write and record songs and perform in front of anaudience.
“Some of the kids came in because of the allure of Hard Rockand Peavey,” explained Dennis Steinmetz, executive director ofHard Rock Academy. “We ran the gamut from someone who had neverpicked up a guitar before they came to the camp all the way up to someheavy-duty players.”
