A new Website developed by Shure’s customer service department is geared to help Shure’s U.S. dealers instantly access order information via the Internet. The site, which provides order status and shipment tracking, is offered at dealers.shure.com. Also included within the new Extranet site are automatic e-mail or fax notification of when an order ships, dealer bulletins, a digital image library and Shure’s corporate advertising policy.
“As part of efforts to enhance the level of service we provide customers, these tracking tools will make dealers’ lives significantly easier,” said Shure manager of U.S. customer service, Althea Ricketts. “Shure has always been in the business of supplying world-class support, and this is the first of many new initiatives we’ll be launching to give our channel the tools they need to efficiently do business with us.”
To begin using any of the features found on the site, dealers simply need to log in and follow the registration instructions. When sending automatic notification of order shipments, Shure will use the dealer e-mail address provided during the registration process. Shipment notification either online or via fax will include UPS tracking numbers. Online notification messages will additionally provide a direct link to UPS’ tracking system.
