The newly introduced TAPCO Mackie brand will increase its productoffering with the introduction of the TAPCO S·5 Active StudioMonitor, a compact, bi-amplified monitor that features dualhigh-precision internal amplifiers providing a total of 120 watts RMS(60 watts for the woofer and 60 watts for the tweeter).
A 5.25-inch woofer delivers punchy bass output and extremelydetailed midrange, while a 1-inch, waveguide-loaded, silk-dome tweeterprovides smooth, nonfatiguing high end. Rear-panel controls allow foracoustic tailoring with low-frequency boost and high-frequencycut/boost switches. Inputs include 1/4-inch TRS/XLR balanced and RCAunbalanced.
