Los Angeles (October 27, 2010)–West L.A. Music will hold its annual Recording Expo on the weekend of November 13-14.

Highlighted by a keynote address by legendary audio pioneer Rupert Neve, the event is expected to include exhibits by recording equipment manufacturers, as well as workshops and seminars featuring artists and Grammy and Emmy winning songwriters, composers, engineers and producers. Special exhibits and presentations featuring the Pro Tools recording platform and third-party applications and plug-ins will be on hand, while an Apple classroom will be onsite on training sessions for Logic and Final Cut.

The Recording Expo will be held in West Los Angeles with product exhibits and seminars at West L.A. Music’s Santa Monica Blvd. location, as well as the adjacent Los Angeles Recreation Center and Village Studios.

Last year, the Recording Expo drew thousands of producers, engineers, composers, educators, celebrities and musicians for two days of seminars and exhibits. Key speakers included, multi-platinum producer Michael Lloyd, Emmy Award winning composer Charles Bernstein, multi-platinum producer and engineer Val Garay, and Allen Sides, owner of Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood.
