Ex’pression Center for New Media has selected the Yamaha DM2000 consoles for the school’s “Heptagon” digital audio control rooms. All six control rooms face one large acoustic studio, which can accommodate a small orchestra. Yamaha and Leo’s Professional Audio have teamed up to equip the digital arts college with six consoles with Yamaha’s proprietary DSP technology.
“The Yamaha DM2000 is fast becoming an industry standard, and today’s computer-oriented students are quick to learn,” said Larry Italia, general manager, Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems division. “Expression Center for New Media is an institution that aims to represent not only the latest technological tools, but also specific pieces of gear that students will encounter when working in the industry.”
