Poznan, Poland (August 5, 2020)—Immersive audio products developer Zylia has a new video that demonstrates the possibilities of six degrees of freedom (6DoF) audio, which allows users to move within a recorded sound scene.

In the new demonstration, Zylia takes the listener for a walk around a virtual concert hall filled with navigable live-recorded Mozart music to show the possibilities of the company’s 6DoF VR/AR set. Eleven musicians are placed among 30 Ambisonics spheres, providing the listener with a perspective from close up, backstage or the audience. The listener can move, turn around, tilt their head in any direction, and the sound will change corresponding to the position of their ears.

Zylia Adds to 3D Audio Portfolio

The Zylia 6DoF navigable 3D audio solution enables the connection of unlimited Zylia ZM-1S microphone arrays to a single computer for recording and streaming. With Zylia’s 6DoF VR/AR set it is possible to record high-resolution third order Ambisonics sounds from concert halls, ambient soundscapes and live concerts in a navigable way and may be implemented with video content to create an immersive experience.

Moreover, spatial resolution is so high that you have a feeling of being there.”
